Spring Cleaning | Hall Closet

Ugh. Gentle readers, as I mentioned before, Boyfriend and your MatchGirl are not stellar cleaners. Not that, of course, we live in a sty, simply that we can both find a lot of other things we'd like to do aside from mop the floors and organize the closets.

But as spring is the time for a fresh start, I decided that we should get going with a spring cleaning, of sorts anyway.

And I decided to start in one of the most annoyingly messy places - the little closets in the entryway of our apartment.



The one pictured (above) is the one we just throw everything into. As you can see. No organization. No order. No sense at all.

The other is where we hang coats, store scarves and gloves and loads of bicycle gear and supplies.

After a little trip to the Big D to buy some containers to help me get organized, I spent a few hours delving into the contents of these closets, and, honestly, throwing a bunch of stuff away.

In the end, though, I'm much happier with the way it looks now!
